What are the technical requirements for FamilyFeatures.com?
For Mac Users: FamilyFeatures.com works at minimum with OS 10.3.9 and FireFox 2.0 browser. This website does not support the Safari 1.3.2 browser. Please also note that Microsoft no longer supports the Internet Explorer browser for Mac; as such, Explorer users may experience glitches in site functionality.
For PC Users: FamilyFeatures.com works at minimum with the Microsoft XP operating system and Internet Explorer 7.0 or FireFox 2.0 browsers.
Can I publish materials on my Web site?
Yes, the easiest way to publish materials on your Web site is to set up our automatically updating Web feeds. Once set up, these feeds automatically refresh with new content every week. You can also select individual content items from FamilyFeatures.com to update your site. Files are provided in HTML format or you can convert Text/JPEG files.
My company has a policy against using brand names. Can I still use your materials?
Yes, you may choose to remove brand names from the copy and simply credit the sponsor somewhere on the page. For example, "information courtesy of Energizer Batteries."
Can I download a file in order to decide if we will publish it?
The preview option allows you to review materials prior to downloading them.
How many pages do you produce each year?
Volume of content varies throughout the year, but you will find more than enough content to publish 52 weeks a year and for holiday/special event/seasonal special sections throughout the year.
How long are your Features and Articles available?
We understand the importance of having timely content themed to reader needs. We suggest that you download content as soon as possible after seeing it since availability varies and can be as short as one month.
Must I publish the materials within a certain time after ordering/downloading?
Some materials are seasonal (holidays, special occassions) or highlight ingredients or products that are seasonal (for example, fresh produce, holiday items). By being sensitive to seasonality, you will help avoid readers not being able to find items at their local stores. Please note, content may also contain time-sensitive consumer offers, contests, and toll-free numbers or Web sites. For this reason it is best to run the materials within a reasonable time frame.
