Feed Setup Information

Family Features offers three types of web feeds: HTML, Java Script and XML. All offer the same timely content, but are different technology platforms.

HTML Setup Information

Setting up the HTML feed is easy. Please download the web feed iFrame Setup. In this download you will receive a line of HTML code that you will need to add to the page where the feed will live. This line of code uses an i-frame tag, so you may need to adjust various attributes such as height, width, scrolling or alignment.

JavaScript Setup Information

Setting up the JavaScript feed is also very easy. Again you will need to download the web feed JavaScript Setup code. You will need to add the few lines of code that are in download to the page where you want the feed to live. These lines of code use JavaScript tags, which once implemented, will allow the feed to automatically conform to the width and height of our center content area and will pick up certain design characteristics of your page.

XML Setup Information

If you are interested in using the XML version of the web feed on your site please see these setup instructions.

Wordpress Setup Information

If you are interested in XML and are using a self-hosted Wordpress site, setting up the feed is easy. You will need to install this plug-in on your site.
